Phenomenal Triumph TR4 from 1962. This British Racing Green TR is recently body off restored, just a few years ago. What an incredible beautiful car. The car has super sleek sheet metal with beautiful glossy paint. The car was completely done by a Dutch enthousiast, due to the original factory specs. The man did an excellent job, nothing was good enough. The chassis is fully rebuild and the panelwork is incredibel thight and beatifully and proffesional painted. The chrome work all around the car is stil like new. Under the bonnet it is just like the outside looks, it looks like new, unbelievable. The engine and gearbox were completely overhauled and are in immaculate condition. The carburettors are the reliable HS version of SU with K & N sports air filters. The high torque starter motor ensures a super fast start after which the wonderful 2.2 liter hums beautifully. The car has an uprated alternator conversion to get some extra electric power. The interior is all equipped in Tan, with a new carpet set, beautiful burr walnut dashboard with new dash top and rebuilkd gauges. The seats are brandnew leather Moss seats with perfect lateral support and headrests. The Tan interior matches the racing green paintwork beautifully. The TR stands on painted Dunlop Wire Wheels wheels with almost new tires. The steering wheel is a Moto Lita MKIII steering wheel, a well-known brand among classic car enthusiasts and a perfect match with the walnut dash. The soft top is brand new and made of the most beautiful and expensive type, green mohair. A beautiful type of wool that not only looks beautiful but also does not discolour! Naturally you prefer to drive with the roof open, but even with the roof closed the TR4 is beautiful. The car comes with a folder with invoices and pictures of the restauration. Fenomenale Triumph TR4 uit 1962. Deze British Racing Green TR is onlangs body off gerestaureerd, slechts een aantal jaar geleden. Wat een ongelooflijk mooie auto. De auto heeft superstrak plaatwerk met prachtige strakke glanzende lak. De auto is volledig gedaan door een Nederlandse liefhebber, naar de originele fabrieks specificaties. De man heeft uitstekend werk geleverd, niets was goed genoeg. Het chassis is volledig opnieuw opgebouwd en het plaatwerk is ongelooflijk strak en prachtig gespoten. Het chroomwerk rondom de auto is nog steeds als nieuw. Onder de motorkap is het net als de buitenkant, het ziet eruit als nieuw, ongelooflijk. De motor en versnellingsbak zijn volledig gereviseerd en zijn in onberispelijke staat. De carburateurs zijn de betrouwbare HS-versie van SU met K & N sportluchtfilters. De high Torque startmotor zorgt voor een supersnelle start waarna de heerlijke 2,2 liter prachtig bromt. De auto heeft een ombouw gehad naar wisselstroom dynamo om wat extra elektrisch vermogen te krijgen. Het interieur is geheel uitgevoerd in Tan, met een nieuwe tapijtset en prachtig wortelnotenhouten dashboard met gereviseerde klokken. De stoelen zijn gloednieuwe leren Moss stoelen met perfecte zijdelingse steun en hoofdsteunen. Het Tan interieur matched prachtig met het Racing Green lakwerk. De TR staat op gespoten Dunlop spaakwielen met bijna nieuwe banden. Het stuur is een Moto Lita MKIII stuur, een bekend merk onder oldtimerliefhebbers en een perfecte match met het walnoten dashboard. De softtop is gloednieuw en gemaakt van de mooiste en duurste soort, groene mohair. Een prachtige soort wol die er niet alleen prachtig uitziet maar ook niet verkleurt! Uiteraard rijd je het liefst met het dak open, maar ook met het dak dicht is de TR4 prachtig. Bij de auto zit een map met facturen en foto's van de restauratie. Eventuele exportpapieren zijn altijd bij onze prijs inbegrepen. Wij kunnen voor een eerlijke prijs transport voor je regelen.
De restauratie kostte destijds vele malen meer, al dit moois is nu te koop.
