Gerestaureerde Buick Super 8 Special
Wij bieden te koop aan deze prachtige en unieke Buick Super 8 Special uit 1929. Deze zeldzame Amerikaanse Vintage racer is gebouwd op een Buick 45 Chassis uit 1929 en is uitgerust met een 5.3 liter 8-cilinder Buick Fireball motor. De motor is voorzien van twee Edelbrock carburateurs en een custom uitlaatspruitstuk. De 165 PK van de Buick wordt via een handgeschakelde 3-versnellingsbak naar de achterwielen overgebracht.

Zoals u op de foto’s kunt zien is dit allesbehalve een standaard klassieker. Deze Buick beschikt over een op maat gemaakte carrosserie met lange motorkap en een aerodynamische achterkant. Een schitterend detail van de auto is zijn haaienkop boven de grille. Hij is uitgevoerd in een crèmekleurig wit lakwerk en heeft diverse handgeschilderde tekeningen en logo’s. Alles is geïnspireerd op de Amerikaanse vintage racers uit de jaren 20/30. Naast zijn ruige uiterlijk beschikt deze Buick over een bordeaux rood lederen zitting die net wat meer comfort biedt dan de meeste racers uit dat tijdperk. Het zicht over het fraai uitgeruste dashboard en de lange motorkap is fantastisch, en het gestroomlijnde voorruitje houdt de wind prima buiten.

Restored Buick Super 8 Special
We offer for sale this beautiful and unique Buick Super 8 Special from 1929. This rare American Vintage racer is built on a Buick 45 Chassis from 1929 and is equipped with a 5.3 liter 8-cylinder Buick Fireball engine. The engine is equipped with two Edelbrock carburetors and a custom exhaust manifold. The Buick's 165 HP is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 3-speed manual gearbox.

As you can see from the photos, this is anything but a standard classic. This Buick features a custom body with a long hood and an aerodynamic rear end. A beautiful detail of the car is its shark head above the grille. It has a cream-coloured white lacquer and has various hand-painted drawings and logos. Everything is inspired by the American vintage racers from the 1920s/30s. In addition to its rugged appearance, this Buick has a burgundy red leather seat that offers slightly more comfort than most racers from that era. The view over the beautifully equipped dashboard and long hood is fantastic, and the streamlined windscreen keeps the wind out well.
