The 512 BBi distinguishes itself from its predecessors by means of narrow indicators in the front bumper and fog lamps in both the front and rear bumpers. The NACA air ducts on the side, front lip spoiler, dual round rear light units, and similar exhausts were previously introduced on the 512 BB without the “i”. Furthermore, every Berlinetta Boxer can be recognized by its super sharp front with pop-up headlights and additional light units behind orange glass. The two ‘bulges’ on the rear hood reveal the placement of the power unit, and the star-shaped wheel design is of the center lock type.

De 512 BBi onderscheidt zich van zijn voorgangers door middel van smalle knipperlichten in de voorbumper en mistlampen in zowel de voor- als achterbumper. De NACA air ducts opzij, frontlipspoiler, dubbele ronde achterlichtunits en dito uitlaten waren in een eerder stadium al geïntroduceerd op de 512 BB zonder “i”. Verder is elke Berlinetta Boxer te herkennen aan een super scherp front met klapkoplampen en additionele lichtunits achter oranje glas. De 2 ‘bulten’ op de motorkap achter verraden de plaatsing van de krachtbron en het stervormige wieldesign is van het type centerlock.

La 512 BBi se distingue de ses prédécesseurs par des clignotants étroits dans le pare-chocs avant et des phares antibrouillard dans les pare-chocs avant et arrière. Les prises d'air NACA sur les côtés, le spoiler avant, les doubles feux arrière ronds et les échappements similaires avaient déjà été introduits sur la 512 BB sans le “i”. De plus, chaque Berlinetta Boxer est reconnaissable à son avant très affûté avec des phares escamotables et des unités lumineuses supplémentaires derrière un verre orange. Les deux « bosses » sur le capot arrière révèlent l'emplacement du moteur et le design des roues en étoile est de type centerlock.
